The
13th Annual Giving Hunger the Blues is Sunday March 30, 2008 on
Hillview Street, Southside Village from 12:00- 8:00 P.M.

In addition there are games and rides for the children, food and
beverage vendors and performances by local organizations and local
school musicians.

100% of all the funds raised will stay right here in
Sarasota County; benefiting the All Faiths Food Bank, PAL Sailor
Circus and The Wellness Community of
Sarasota County. "Being a parent myself and after hearing the
astonishing facts of the rise in child abuse in our community I knew I
had to do my part to help prevent and educate the community." said
George Generoso, Chairman of the event.
[In the last several years child abuse referrals to the Child Protection
Center increased 142%]
